When we took our tiny house for a cruise around town .
Our first winter in our tiny house has been has been extremely warm inside . With our floor heaters not only can we walk with our bare feet on warm toasty floors but we never have to adjust the temperature with our smart thermostats that keeps each room at it’s set temp!!! Have you ever experienced floor heaters ? What are your thoughts on them ?
Our first tiny house we traveled 28k miles with it . Where would you go if you could take your house with you ?
When you open the door and your wife is chilling by the fire with the doggy!
Towel warmer, floor heater , composting toilet, full sized bath tub ,red wood beams are just a few things that were must haves for our restroom . What are your must haves in your bathroom ?
5yrs ago today I was finishing our first tiny house . Parked in our three unit apartments parking spot , taking up my space and my neighbors space with there permission. I didn’t build it alone . So many people helped out , from the Neighbors who let me take there space and the neighborhood people who didn’t mind or stopped by to give there expert tips and advice. Even the city employee who had to drop by b/c a neighbor one block away complained for months and then threatened legal action just b/c they didn’t like how I was taking two parking space that had no effect on them. That city employee explained to me the laws of 48hr parking after he handed me my warning . So I parked 48hrs in the drive way, hitched up the tiny house and drove a mile to reset the 48hrs and parked in front of the apartment . After 48hrs I drove one mile to reset the time and parked it in the drive way. By this time I was 90% complete and a few months later moved out and started living in the tiny house !!!!
